The Government wants to change how you sell vapes. Tell them what you think.

Protect your sales. Keep your shop running as it is.

The Government is consulting on changes to how vapes and tobacco are sold in shops. Vapes in plain black & white packs. Flavour descriptors reduced to single words. Products kept out of sight and handed over on request. None of it is law yet. It closes on 2 October. If it goes through without the trade having its say, it lands on your shop and your bottom line.

This form takes just 5 quick steps to complete.Submit your response by 30 September at 11:59pm so VSL has time to submit it to DHSC before the consultation closes.(The consultation closes 2 October at 11:59pm)

Tell us what it would do to your store.

We read all 55 pages of the official form so you don’t have to. Every question already has an answer selected for you - the one that avoids new rules costing you sales, shelf space or time. It’s still your response! Change any answer you don’t agree with, then we submit it for you.

A few quick questions about you and a few words on how this would affect your store, then your response is ready to send: every government question already answered with your shop in mind. Review any answer first if you wish, then we submit it to the official DHSC survey for you.

We use this to prepare and submit your response and to send you a copy of what we submitted. No account, no cost and we won’t sign you up to anything.

What this would do to your shop.

Three sets of proposals. None of them is law yet and the wording is still being decided. If they pass as written, they change what you can sell and how you sell it. That is why your answer counts.

Packaging

Every vape in a plain white pack. No brand colours, no imagery and the flavour cut to one word. A shelf where every line looks the same and nothing stands out.

Appearance

Devices in white, black or grey only. No lights, no screens beyond battery level. Every device looks the same - you lose the visual cues that point customers to your best sellers.

Display

Vapes kept out of sight, like tobacco. A customer asks, you fetch it, with a queue behind them. That is your gantry, your impulse sale and a lot more time at the till.

This is our plain-English reading of the published proposals. Check the official consultation for the exact wording before you respond.

Why do this here and what happens next.

We supply convenience and forecourt stores across the UK, and our reps are in shops like yours every week. We built this because the people this hits hardest are the least likely to be asked, and the least likely to have half an hour spare for a government form. We did the work and selected the answers. You just check them, change anything you don’t agree with, and confirm you’re happy - we do the rest!

1

We did the reading

The official form is 55 pages. We went through all of it and kept what actually lands on a convenience store.

2

You check what we’ve picked

Every answer’s already selected for your shop. Open anything you want to check, and change it if you see it differently. Nothing to read up on first.

3

You confirm you’re happy

Nothing is submitted until you tick to say we can send it on your behalf, exactly as shown.

4

We submit it for you

We put your answers on the official DHSC survey and submit it on your behalf. You get a copy. Your voice on the record, without the 55 pages.

While you’re here, know what to stock next.
